financial support for local charities

In addition to providing financial support for seminarians in our diocese, Council 2141 provides support to the following local charities:

The Arc of Midland - "is a nonprofit organization which promotes the general welfare of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and increases their presence, participation and inclusion in the community."

Special Olympics, Michigan - "The mission of Special Olympics Michigan is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities."

Special Olympics, Midland Michigan - "serves 164 athletes in Midland County."

Pineview Homes - "is a faith-based organization which helps youth and families achieve their goals by promoting a healthy body, mind, and spirit. It is a private, non-profit, state-licensed institution that operates a structured residential care program in Evart, Michigan, for boys ages 8-17."

Coats for Kids - Coats for Kids is a Supreme sponsored program.  We then make them available first to needed kids of our parish and then needed kids in the county through the North Midland Community Center.

Tall in the Saddle - which is a charity we support as part of our annual Tootsie Roll drive on Palm Sunday weekend at Assumption and our public drive at Kroger and Kmart the last weekend in April.

Grand Knights of the Midland area councils with representatives of the various charities that the Knights supported in 2019. A big thank you to all Knights for their charitable efforts.
